Another Labor Day Tournament is complete. We had a beautiful day, with many spectators coming out to enjoy the occasion. The matches were fun to watch, and hopefully a good time was had by all. Here are the results:

• Women’s: Tammy Sheehy and Lori Cronin defeated Hailey Longbottom and Lisbet Kmieczak
• Mixed: Christopher Sampson and Victoria Morgan defeated Aidan Crowley and Christina Durocher
• Men’s: David Cronin and Nick Wiles defeated Christopher Sampson and Oliver Cragan

We are grateful to Holden Towers in Holden and NETC/Orchard Hills in Leominster for opening their facilities to us during the course of the tournament. With the large draws we had and the rain early in the week, we couldn’t have gotten it done without their generosity! Those of you who either played or watched matches at either of these clubs and enjoyed your experience there (or heard from others who did), you may want to inquire about membership.

We had a lot of new players this year, ensuring continued enthusiasm for our town tradition. See you all next year!
